Following on from 37418's exploits, the very next morning Regional Railways liveried 37425 'Concrete Bob' was used to haul the 6X20 York (Thrall Europa) to Doncaster Up Decoy NDS service and is observed passing Burton Salmon, between Milford and Knottingley. The working, which was never a stranger to class 37/4 haulage during the years they were active with DRS, was conveying a set of loaded Network Rail 'IFA' point carrier wagons. 8th March 2022.

Hauling a pair of empty 'TDA' fuel tanks for migration back into regular traffic following attention at Eastleigh, 37418 'An Comunn Gàidhealach' is seen erupting away from Hatton North Junction with the 6Z37 11:55 Eastleigh Arlington - Sinfin Sidings on 7th March 2022. The loco is privately owned and was, at the time, on short term hire to Colas.

The name which adorns the bodyside is a Scottish Gaelic pronunciation, meaning simply 'The Gaelic Association', an organisation founded in Oban in 1981 to aid in the preservation and development of the Gaelic language, and also to help establish the Royal National Mòd, which is a festival incorporating Gaelic arts, music and culture.

During December 2021, 37688 was hired (along with Locomotive Services Ltd's 37521) to GB Railfreight to undertake multiple unit movements. Complete with its Buxton TMD depot plaques and ICI crests, it is seen under stormy skies as it passes Borrowash on 10th December 2021, with the 5Q11 Derby Litchurch Lane - Worksop Down Yard. South Western Railway's 10-car class 701 'Aventra' No 701039 is in the formation with classmate 37521 just out of sight on the rear.

37688 was built in 1963 at English Electric's Vulcan Foundry plant in Newton-le-Willows under the works number of EE/VF3383/D849. The loco entered service in November 1963 as D6905, later being renumbered to 37205 in January 1973 and then finally to 37688 in late 1986. It was named 'Great Rocks' at ICI Hindlow Quarry on 23rd June 1988, shortly after receiving Trainload Construction colours, having carried 'Railfreight' red stripe for a brief time between November 1986 and the Summer of 1988.

After a post-privatisation stint as part of the Direct Rail Services fleet, in which the loco carried two variations of the company's distinctive blue livery, it was put up for tender and duly sold to D05 Preservation Limited in February 2017. During its initial period in preservation, the loco was restored once again to Trainload Construction colours. It was then returned to mainline service in 2020 and placed on long-term hire to Locomotive Services Ltd, based at Crewe.
